Rotary Club Art Auction
On Saturday, November 2, the Rotary Club of Pender Harbour will host the twelfth annual Rotary Art Auction at the Garden Bay Hotel in Pender Harbour. This event has become a favourite night out for many and a chance to either start a collection or build on an existing one. An incredible group of artists participate in the auction.
This year we are proud to showcase works by artists such as Motoko, George Pratt, Susan Point, Gloria Massé, Paul Ygartua, Helen Broadfoot, Sandy Kay, Wendy Simmons, Bob James, Andy Cotton, Jesse Whitford, Carol Lafave, and many more. The auction will feature hundreds of items: original paintings, pottery, jewelry, First Nations art, stone and wood sculptures, and much much more—something for every taste and every budget. Seating is limited, so the Rotary Club requests that if you attend, please participate, to help us reach our goal. Remember: You don’t have to buy anything, but you do have to bid. The Art Auction is our Rotary Club’s main fundraiser, and we could not do it without you. To date we have raised over $180,000, with the proceeds benefitting local youth and community projects, as well as international projects such as the exchange student program and Polio International.
