Retiring owners of the Madeira Park IGA, Troy and Lorie Callewaert, have taken their role as “essential business” owners seriously and have supported our community with enthusiasm, warmth, and love.
Everyone has a Troy appreciation story. ZOOM’s creator, Edmund Arceo, is thankful for the support and smiles over the years:
“Troy has been a supporter of ZOOM Magazine since I started publishing in 2010. I’m grateful for all the help he has extended to me and my projects. Like many people in the community, I’ll miss seeing him at the IGA—seeing him stock shelves, sometimes manning the till, always busy doing something . . . but every time ready to answer questions or help find what I’m looking for in the store—with a smile! I wish him, Lorie, and Megan all the best in their future.”
For sixteen years Troy has been known for his “hands-on” style of business and his readiness to sponsor a sports team, donate door prizes and gift baskets, and to participate in community events. We wish the couple success in their new endeavours and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
